The more you praise and celebrate your life, the more there is in life to celebrate.” -Oprah Winfrey

Today is Monday, December 30, 2019 and this is week #52 of 52 Mondays with Sheréa VéJauan. We did it! We broke this year down - one Monday at time. And we get to do it all again in 2020!

There are three very challenging categories in this journal for me: fun, travel, and celebration. It also doesn’t help that I’m a recovering introverted perfectionist. For those of you who are perfectionists, like me, you may also find it very hard to celebrate if you are not one hundred percent proud of something. It could always be better, right? If you set a goal to lose fifty pounds, but you lose twenty-five, celebrate the twenty-five. Don’t let perfectionism discourage you from celebrating your success. You deserve the celebration!

Take time during this last week of the year to celebrate what went well in 2019. Acknowledging and enjoying your success will make future goals easier to set and achieve. What goals did you accomplish? What new things did you learn? Don’t forget to review the monthly highlight sections of your 2019 Goals Journal.

Once you’re done celebrating, you can then get to work figuring out what you can do to raise the bar again in the coming year.
